John --

Did you see Mike Pence on TV earlier today? The doctors were wearing masks. The patients were wearing masks. Heck, everyone in the building was wearing a mask -- except Mike Pence.

Mike Pence visited the Mayo Clinic facility in Minnesota, where they are treating COVID-19 victims, but refused to listen to their guidance that everyone wear a mask to help prevent the virus's spread. I'm taken aback at the arrogance of making everyone at the medical facility less safe, just so he'd look good for a photo op.

One of the most important aspects of leadership is leading by example. But throughout this crisis, we've gotten the opposite of leadership from this administration. Instead, we get misinformation, misdirection, and mismanagement of one of the worst crises in recent memory.

I've had it, John. Now's the time to be listening to experts, following the guidance of doctors, and protecting those at risk -- that means wearing a mask when the Mayo Clinic asks you to wear a mask.

I'm running to represent Alaska in the Senate so I can go to Washington with a prescription for change that delivers results. If you're with me, please chip in $5 or more before our end-of-month deadline on Thursday.

Thanks -- and please, if a doctor tells you to wear a mask, wear a mask.

In these uncertain times, it's never mattered more to send a doctor to Washington who can take on the failed status quo and deliver a real prescription for change.
