We are living in a critical moment in history, one that could have dire consequences for the future of our nation.

 

But here’s the good news: I truly believe that Democrats are more united than we’ve seen at any other time in the past decade. At least that’s the energy at the DNC this week.

 

Everyone knows what’s at stake, and we are working together in Chicago to protect the country that we love and the democracy we depend on, no matter what state we call home.

When tonight’s ceremonies end, the final chapter of this campaign begins. 

 

My team and I are leaving Chicago with some great ideas from other groups that have successfully flipped red districts like ID-02 for Democrats. 

 

I feel more equipped than ever to win this race if we can implement some of the strategies they shared. John, there’s still time, but not a lot, and we can only do it if we have the resources.

 

We have 75 days to go before the election, so I have a big ask: can you pitch in $75 (or any amount) TODAY to help me flip this seat, protect our democracy, and bring some of this DNC joy to Congress?

Kamala and Tim need every seat they can get to pass their agenda. It’s going to take massive organizing on the ground these next couple months so we can have lower prescription drug costs, affordable housing, and LONG OVERDUE Supreme Court reforms.

 

John, none of this happens if we don’t have the majority in Congress next year. It’ll be another two years of Republican infighting and letting Trump take the wheel like the GOP did on the border bill.

 

When we win this race, send Mike Simpson home, and send Kamala to the Oval Office, we’ll expand LGBT representation in Congress and open more doors for marginalized groups to succeed. That’s the country I want to live in, and I know you do, too. 

 

Republicans want to rewrite history. I’m ready to make it.
