The reality is that the abortion lobby and their political allies have become a death cult. 

The Democrat party platform has been catastrophic for human life for decades. Their current platform states, “We believe unequivocally, like the majority of Americans, that every woman should be able to access high-quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion.”

In addition, only one month ago, Republicans voted for the first time in 40 years to put forth a platform without a strong pro-life stance. For the first time since 1984, the GOP platform lacked vital language to federally protect our preborn children.

The cry for equal protection under the law for all people—both born and preborn—must not cease or our nation’s most vulnerable citizens are at risk of being left behind by both major political parties.

We at Live Action believe in protecting life—starting at fertilization. In order for that to happen, we know there must be consistent voices standing up for preborn children in culture and politics.

That’s why it’s so deeply disappointing to see that the core American value of defending the innocent has been forgotten by both party platforms.
