It is shocking to learn from a new Barna survey that “theologically defined evangelicals are no more likely than anyone else to be attentive to news about politics and government,” with less than half reporting that they follow these kinds of current events.
The study also confirms that around one-third of evangelicals do not participate in elections, which means that the voices of evangelicals may be missing by the millions in the 2024 presidential election.
In this episode, Family Policy Alliance Foundation CEO Craig DeRoche talks with Troy Miller, President of the NRB, the National Religious Broadcasters. The group serves as the largest association of religious broadcasters in the U.S. Troy recently released a statement on this new study by Dr. George Barna that is creating a lot of discussion among believers, emphasizing the important role every American believer has in participating in the election process.
