It’s official: Kamala Harris is our Democratic nominee for president, and I am thrilled to support her historic campaign to lead our country.

I was honored to cast my DNC delegate ballot for her candidacy earlier this month and proud to stand with the First State’s delegation as we cast the convention’s first votes for our next president.

This is an incredible moment for our country. I want to congratulate Vice President Harris — and thank President Joe Biden for his courage, leadership, and service.

Kamala, our future “Madam President,” has proven that she can take on tough battles and deliver real change. She has the strength and conviction to protect abortion rights, fight for paid leave and affordable childcare, expand access to healthcare and housing, and take on gun violence by banning assault weapons.
