Make sure you're ready to vote in November.
Friend –
The ACLU of Wisconsin asked every candidate running for the Wisconsin State Legislature questions about the most pressing issues impacting our rights. And now we have answers.
We sent a questionnaire to all state Assembly and Senate candidates <[link removed]> to gauge their positions on access to contraception and IVF, classroom censorship, and marijuana legalization, among other critical issues. We've published their responses on our website.
Candidate Questionnaire <[link removed]>
The questionnaires are intended to give voters a better understanding of where state legislative candidates fall on crucial issues affecting the civil rights and civil liberties of Wisconsinites. We entrust those elected to serve in the legislature to make decisions that will significantly impact our lives and the state's future, so we all deserve to know where they stand.
With so many legislative seats up for election in November, there is no better time to ask candidates to explain their political positions and give Wisconsinites what they need to cast an informed vote.
There are 99 state Assembly seats and 16 state Senate seats on the ballot in 2024.
Know where candidates stand before casting your ballot this November. Make a plan to vote, check your registration status, and find additional information about voting rights. <[link removed]>
