Creative Change 2024 Goes Punk!

In July, we held our 12th Creative Change retreat in New Mexico. Gathered for a week of rest and innovation with dozens of artists, activists, and creative leaders, we came together under the banner of PUNK! to reflect on this central question: How can we channel the spirit of punk in our justice movements?

For TOA, this means being ferocious and non-complacent and also pioneering elements of punk culture to build a truly multiracial democracy. Read some of the attendees' reflections on the connections between punk and advocacy in our latest blog curated by TOA’s Sughey Ramirez and Jade Wilenchik!
