John, come on in!

Are you a coldwater thrill seeker? An anti-plastic activist? Or a landlocked river and sea lover just sick of all the filth? Whatever drives you, don’t miss out on the next nationwide action following the general election to show you care about the ocean and all it makes possible.

Join us for Dip A Day in October 2024! Registration opens on 27 August.

Challenge yourself to dip every day in October, in any cold water that’s safe and accessible to you: a local cove, loch, cold shower or even a garden tub! You’ll be part of a growing community that’s found a joyful way to make a difference. Plus you’ll get a daily endorphin hit too.

Rise to the ocean-saving challenge

Last year, our hardy dippers braved cold water every day for a month and raised an amazing £202,105 in ocean-saving funds. ❄️

Their hard work helped fund our vital campaigning to keep sewage pollution at the top of the political agenda for the general election so that – along with plastic pollution – it landed as a top priority for the new Environment Secretary. And we’re far from finished.

With a new government elected we have a unique window to demand meaningful change – from our calls for a public enquiry into the water sector, to achieving more Designated Bathing Spaces that put legal obligations on water quality monitoring in the UK. But we need more funds to do it.

Every shiver counts – so what do you say? Will you take the plunge and Dip a Day in October to help protect the waters we all love?

Registration opens on 27 August.

Let’s do this! ✊
