The suit alleges that “Meyer and his administration continue to turn a blind eye to blatant acts of sexual harassment which includes male supervisors propositioning female subordinates for sex and naked photos.”

John, this news shakes me to my core. Matt Meyer has failed the women of New Castle County, who have had their careers derailed by workplace harassment under his watch.

And what’s more, this lawsuit isn’t even the first of its kind. Numerous complaints and lawsuits have been filed throughout the years, and one thing is clear: Matt Meyer and his administration enable male perpetrators to act with impunity time and time again.

The women in his office are the ones who suffer in silence and pay the price for his dereliction of duty. This is a story that any woman in the workplace – myself included – has unfortunately heard time and time again. But I’m here to say: Delawareans deserve better.

This kind of permissive approach to workplace sexual harassment has NO place in the Governor’s office. But the primary election is less than three weeks away, and Matt is self-funding his own campaign with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
