If you’re curious what your support goes towards, look no further than last night. Look no further than our record with Tim Walz, and the thousands of other candidates we’ve backed over the last couple decades.

Let us explain, real quick:

FIRST: We launched VoteVets to build a bench of progressive Veterans who would lead with their values and experience. We put money behind a bunch of candidates, including $100,000 behind a guy nobody had heard of at the time — Tim Walz.

THEN: Not only did Tim win that first campaign, he kept winning. He fought for Veterans in Congress, he fought to end the Iraq War. As Governor of Minnesota he was a champion for all of our values, and delivered progress for his people.

NOW: Tim Walz is our nominee for Vice President of the United States of America. The bench of Democratic candidates and elected officials has never been stronger. And Veterans are leading the way.

It’s easy to look past a request for a donation. It’s hard to see how your $5 or $10 goes into building out winning campaigns and delivering the change we all long to see.
