Dear Friend,
Just a few months ago, the Outdoors Alliance for Kids (OAK) celebrated our national gathering, OAK Week, by going to Congress to advocate for federal policies and programs that get kids, youth and families connected to nature.
One of these crucial programs is the Every Kid Outdoors Program, which gives all fourth graders a free pass to national waters, lands and forests for themselves and their family. Since its implementation, it has been a huge success. In the last nine years alone, this program has helped 1,105,805 students explore nature.
But time is running out. This program will only continue for two more years unless Congress passes the Every Kid Outdoors Act, a bill that not only permanently funds the Every Kid Outdoors program but also extends it to fifth graders. Sign the petition here! |
