In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Americans are looking to our leaders for guidance in how to conduct our daily lives, calming of our worst fears, and hope for the future. Some government officials have earned high marks for their response to the crisis, and others have not. How does their leadership compare to the great leaders of America’s past? And does the handling of past crises offer us any lessons for getting through the coronavirus outbreak?
Next Tuesday, the Goldwater Institute and the National Review Institute will host a special teleforum to discuss these leadership lessons, featuring historian Richard Brookhiser, a senior editor at National Review and senior fellow at the National Review Institute. Goldwater Institute President and CEO Victor Riches will moderate the discussion.
