Navy SEALs are trained and prepared to fight to the bitter end for our country and our values, and that’s exactly what we need in Washington if we want to fix this country.
Friend, I fired the bullet that killed Osama bin Laden.
My name is Rob O’Neill, and I’m a former Navy SEAL. When my SEAL Team set out at night in total darkness to eliminate Osama bin Laden, we weren’t sure if we’d come back alive.
We knew the place would be well-armed, and we knew bin Laden would be surrounded by his most loyal allies, who would not only kill for him, but they’d be all-too-willing to die to save him.
However, my Team was just as willing to lay down our lives to exact revenge for the attacks on 9/11 and eliminate America’s biggest and most dangerous enemy.
That’s what being a Navy SEAL is about: Going into America’s toughest fights ready to risk everything in order to come out victorious. We’re deployed to make sure Americans can sleep peacefully in their beds at night, drop their kids off at school safely, and live without fear of another terrorist attack.
When my fellow Navy SEAL Derrick Van Orden got home to transition into civilian life, he saw the Democrats were working to eliminate the pro-America values he fought to protect during his 26 years in the SEALs.
Our motto in the Navy SEALs is “Long Live the Brotherhood,” to honor all of our SEALs – the ones serving today, the ones who served years ago, and the ones who we lost.
Whether you served with a fellow SEAL or not, you know their character, what they stood for, and what they were fighting for. It’s a brotherhood made up of the bravest men and women you’ll ever meet. It’s exactly the kind of people who should be in charge of restoring our country.
My story is simple. I was raised in rural poverty by a single mother on food stamps. At 18, I joined the Navy. After 26 years of service and 5 combat tours, I retired as a Navy SEAL Senior Chief. Now, I’m serving as a first-term Congressman for Wisconsin’s 3rd District.
I’m not a swamp-dwelling politician – I don’t have support from mega-donors or Super PACs. I’m just like you – a concerned American who loves this nation and will always do the right thing.
USE OF MILITARY RANK, JOB TITLES AND PHOTOGRAPHS IN UNIFORM DOES NOT IMPLY ENDORSEMENT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY, THE DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY, OR THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE.
