The last few weeks have shown us all how important and meaningful small actions can be, especially in communities like ours.

Schools such as Boyette Springs Elementary have organized teacher parades to drive past students' homes showing support for them. Parents take their kids out to chalk driveways, spreading messages of hope to neighbors they barely know. And homes and businesses all over Brandon have rainbows hanging in their windows to show how much our frontline workers are appreciated.


Everywhere you look, there are people supporting each other. Whether you are physically helping by grocery shopping for at-risk neighbors (check out our Help Your Neighbor letter), giving old friends a call to let them know you are thinking about them, or just staying at home, you're supporting a community effort to keep us all as safe as possible.

Every person has experienced this health crisis differently and many of us are in a tight financial position. But the need for new leadership in Tallahassee has never been more obvious.
