Real Justice has been hard at work keeping up pressure on Attorney General Barr, local district attorneys, sheriffs, and governors around the country to reduce their jail and prison populations amid COVID-19 and protect thousands of vulnerable lives.
Our work is only possible through your support and through your contributions to emails like these. Our email fundraising program allows us to continue efforts to grow our volunteer network and build digital media programs to educate and create actions around reforming our criminal justice systems.
As of now, we’ve raised $11,291 toward our $18,000 fundraising goal. We need your help to catch up so we can hit our goal.
Your support has helped us launch actions to reduce prison populations amid COVID-19 in 15 high prison population cities and counties. This collective support has been life-saving for vulnerable incarcerated folks in cities like San Francisco which was able to reduce their jail population by almost 50 percent!
And we have three endorsed candidates to support in places like Portland, Oregon, Detroit, Michigan, and Lake County, Illinois! These candidates are ready to challenge the status quo and build fairer legal systems for their communities.
