Key Takeaways from the 2024 DNC
As expected, the Democratic National Convention has solidified Kamala Harris as their 2024 presidential nominee. The messaging was clear and consistent: they’re committed to doubling down on failed policies that have already put our economy in jeopardy, weakened our borders, and promoted a divisive, woke socialist agenda.
Under this administration, we’ve seen skyrocketing inflation, chaos at the southern border, and a relentless push towards extreme policies that are out of step with everyday Americans. The DNC’s decision to move forward with Harris signals that we can expect more of the same if they remain in power.
Now, more than ever, it's critical that we stay focused on the issues that matter to hardworking Americans and push back against policies that harm our communities.
Texans and all Americans deserve a leader like President Trump who will prioritize your needs and the future of our nation. This election presents a clear choice between the Democrats' failed socialist policies that have failed America over the past four years and our vision for a thriving, secure, and free America.

Was it Luck? Or Part of a Bigger Plan?
I called my friend Matt Crouch, President and Chairman of TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), after President Trump was shot. I asked if he would consider a show to talk about whether God spared the life of the president, as I believe, or was just a random act of incredible luck.
The week before last, I taped an hour with Matt, Dr. Phil, Pastor Allen Jackson, and news anchor Kris Gutierrez about what the Bible says about God choosing our leaders and being involved in elections.
There was no script or plan. None of us knew what the other was going to say beforehand.
Here is the interview. I think you may find it very interesting whether you are a believer or not.
On this topic, I felt like a pair of brown shoes in a room full of tuxedos with these four wise men.
Thank you all for your support and everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
