John,

For some of the survivors we work with, this fall isn’t about going back to school. Instead of classrooms, they’re stepping into vocations, ready to take on new challenges. We saw several youth graduate last spring, and they’re now headed into the workforce. It’s an exciting transition, but also a big change.

We know that economic instability is often a driving factor in trafficking. That’s why we’re committed to helping these young people gain the skills and confidence they need to build a stable future.

Whether it’s job training, mentoring, financial literacy, or just being there to listen, we’re working alongside survivors to ensure they succeed. We celebrate every milestone and offer the support they need to stay on track.

There’s a crisis in many communities with young adults being disconnected from work and school, and victims of exploitation are even more likely to be affected by this. Many working to address this issue are starting to call these “opportunity youth” because we see an opportunity here to step into a need and change lives and communities. Our Survivor Care program is doing that.

Your ongoing support makes it possible for us to continue showing up for these kids as their journey unfolds throughout the year. Because of you, they have the tools they need to thrive in the workforce and break the cycle of vulnerability. We’re aiming to see Love146’s monthly giving grow by $2500 a month. Can you step in right now and provide a part of that?

Join young people on this journey. Stick around and see the incredible difference you make as a monthly supporter. Thank you for trusting us with your hard-earned money. We don’t take it for granted.

Founded in 2002, Love146 journeys alongside children impacted by trafficking today and prevents the trafficking of children tomorrow. Our prevention education and survivor care work has impacted more than 81,000 young people. Our work is achieved through the power of relationships and collaboration, listening to those with lived experience and diverse backgrounds, scaling proven practices, and challenging the systems that leave children vulnerable. Our core commitment is to do what is best for children.
