Kendall and Sheila visited the first Washington Academy school in Southaven, Mississippi! Washington Academy Southaven is the first of many schools TakeCharge is launching in Minnesota and across the country.
Washington Academy’s mission is to transform a new generation of children through faith in God, high academic standards, high expectations, accountability, love of country, and a moral foundation of biblical truth.
The opening of this school is one step in our core strategy to restore the culture and break the generational dependency on government assistance.
As a reminder, instead of capital campaigns to build school buildings, we are partnering with likeminded churches to lease their near-vacant facilities during the work week to launch Washington Academy schools.
Washington Academy schools are 90 percent donor-funded with parents paying the remaining 10 percent. The schools provide poor and working-class families an opportunity to provide their children a quality, Christ-centered classical education, free from indoctrinating dogma and anti-American teachings.
