Townhall: The introductory video for Tim Walz at the DNC claims he was a Command Sergeant Major in the National Guard. This is a lie (X). Post Millennial: Bill Clinton: “Kamala Harris said she would protect everybody’s right to vote whether or not they voted for her.” Reminder: Not a single person has voted for Kamala Harris (X). Trump War Room: Bill Clinton says that Joe Biden “voluntarily gave up political power” and compares him to George Washington. Nothing about Crooked Joe giving up power was voluntary (X). Collin Rugg: Nancy Pelosi, who is accused of staging a coup on the democratically nominated candidate Joe Biden, says she is a savior of democracy. According to journalist Seymour Hersh, Pelosi and other top Democrats threatened Biden with the 25th Amendment to force him to drop out of the race. Despite this, Pelosi says she is actually the one who cares about democracy (X). Pastor, Professor Denny Burk: Oprah Winfrey tells the Democratic National Convention that there is no American dream without abortion (X).

72 Pro-Palestinian Protesters Arrested Outside DNC

Associated Press: Multiple pro-Palestinian demonstrators were arrested Tuesday after clashing with police during a protest that began outside the Israeli consulate and spilled out onto the surrounding streets on the second night of the Democratic National Convention. The intense confrontations with officers began minutes into the demonstration, after some protesters – many dressed in black, their faces covered – charged at a line of police that had blocked the group from marching. They eventually moved past the officers, but were penned in several times throughout the night by police in riot gear who did not allow protesters to disperse. The Chicago chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, which provided legal observers for Tuesday’s protests, said at least 72 people were arrested (Associated Press). Just the News: Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling denied that police had “kettled” protesters, a tactic that involves corralling demonstrators in a confined area, which is banned under a federal consent decree (Just the News).

Fox News: As the Democratic National Convention (DNC) unfolds in Chicago this week, the true agenda of the abortion industry is on full display — an agenda that seeks to convince people that pregnancy is a disease and that motherhood is a curse. New data from earlier in the day released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows a downward revision of 818,000 jobs in the year through March 2024 for nonfarm employment (Townhall). In Recent Years, ICE Has Lost Track of 32,000 Illegal Minors

Townhall: Since 2019, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lost track of tens of thousands of illegal alien children released into the United States, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s inspector general found…According to the internal investigation assessing ICE’s ability to monitor the whereabouts and welfare of children who had entered the United States illegally and arrived alone, the immigration enforcement agency cannot locate over 32,000 unaccompanied alien children (UACs) let into the country over a five-year period. From fiscal years 2019 to 2023, ICE transferred more than 448,000 illegal alien minors to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s custody, the audit calculates (Townhall). Reporter Ali Bradley: The report calls on ICE to take immediate action saying these children are at higher risk for trafficking, exploitation or forced labor. ICE responded saying that unaccompanied minors aren’t given their NTAs until they are placed with a sponsor (X).

Department of Energy Official Embraces DEI Practices, Wants to Begin “Queering Nuclear Weapons”

Fox News: A recent hire at the nuclear security wing of the Department of Energy has previously called for disarmament policies – which reduce or eliminate nuclear weapons – arguing that advancing “queer theory” was essential to that agenda as well as important to America’s national security. The Biden-Harris administration announced Sneha Nair had been appointed as special assistant at the National Nuclear Security Administration in February 2024. Nair believes in eradicating purported “White supremacy” in the nuclear field as well as “queering nuclear weapons” as part of a diversity, equity and inclusion push she believes is essential for deterring threats to nuclear energy facilities in the US (Fox News). Daily Caller: Further, Nahir wrote in the June 2023 article that a DEI push in America’s nuclear workforce can also enhance security by diversifying viewpoints because, for example, “the threat posed by some White supremacist groups to nuclear facilities may go undetected if a White-majority workforce does not perceive these ideological leanings as indicators of a relevant nuclear security threat.” She further asserted in that piece that viewing nuclear policy through a queer theory “lens” inherently means rejecting the idea that “nuclear deterrence creates security and disarmament creates vulnerability” (Daily Caller).

Ford to Scrap Large EV Model as Auto Industry Slows EV Push

Wall Street Journal: Ford Motor is canceling plans for a large electric sport-utility vehicle and expects to take $1.9 billion in related special charges and write-downs, as automakers continue adjusting their EV plans because of softer-than-expected demand. The Dearborn, Mich., automaker said it is scrapping plans for an electric three-row SUV, citing tough pricing pressure as automakers resort to aggressive discounts to move their EVs. This spring, Ford had said it would delay plans for that model by two years, to a 2027 release date. Ford instead will offer hybrid gas-electric versions of future large, three-row SUVs, a popular vehicle category that includes the brand’s Explorer and Expedition nameplates (Wall Street Journal). CNBC: Ford said it will incur a special noncash charge of about $400 million for the write-down of certain product-specific manufacturing assets, including the cancellation of the three-row SUV… Ford CFO John Lawler said the company’s future capital expenditure plans will shift from spending about 40% on all-electric vehicles to spending 30% (CNBC).

RFK Jr. Plans to Drop Out of Presidential Race by End of Week, Possibly Endorse Donald Trump

ABC: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to drop out of the presidential race by the end of this week, sources familiar with the decision tell ABC News. Sources tell ABC News that Kennedy plans to endorse Donald Trump — but when asked directly by ABC News if he will be endorsing the former president, Kennedy said, “I will not confirm or deny that.” Sources cautioned the decision is not yet finalized and could still change, with one source adding that Kennedy’s hope is, in part, to finalize things quickly in order to try to blunt momentum from the Democratic National Convention (ABC). Reporter Jonathan Karl: Kennedy went on at length trashing Harris as someone “without a single policy that anybody thinks isn’t ridiculous” (X). Benny Johnson: Don Jr. just enthusiastically endorsed the idea of RFK Jr. joining the Trump Administration as potential CIA Director after speculation of his looming Trump endorsement grows: “I could think of a dozen roles I’d love to see him in. I think that would be great” (X).

Donald Trump Trolls Harris Campaign by Creating a Website Detailing Her Radical Policies

Fox News: Vice President Kamala Harris has not released a policy page on her campaign website to detail her positions on key issues such as the economy and immigration, sparking the Trump campaign to create and release a platform website for her, Fox News Digital exclusively learned. “Kamala Harris has yet to tell voters what her policies are, so we thought we’d help them out. Kamala Harris wants to open the borders, raise taxes, and free criminals,” a Trump campaign national press secretary told Fox News Digital about the website. The site, kamala2024policies.com, launched Wednesday morning on the third day of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) and takes viewers to a website declaring, “Kamala Harris’ dangerous policies are nothing to laugh about” (Fox News). Kamala2024policies: She wants to abolish our borders, let criminals control our streets, surrender our communities to cartels and a plague of fentanyl, wage war on American energy, and destroy the American Dream (Kamala2024policies). Townhall: Ms. Harris will have to talk about her policies sooner or later. Kamala felt they could keep this bottled up, but the Trump team decided to preempt her operation (X).

Harrison Butker: “America needs more Jesus not less”

Daily Wire: Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker called out a Chicago Cardinal who led the invocation at the Democratic National Convention with his cross hidden under his jacket and failed to mention Jesus Christ’s name. In a Tuesday post on X, the Chiefs star shared a clip from the first night of the 2024 DNC in Chicago with Roman Catholic Cardinal Blase Cupich at the podium giving the opening prayer and the religious leader’s pectoral cross could not be seen because it was tucked inside the Cardinal’s jacket (X).
