Aloha, Fellow Republicans!
I hope this message finds you well and energized for the journey ahead. With so much happening, I want to take a moment to reflect on the recent Democratic convention. Did any of you tune in? I couldn’t help but notice it lacked the spirit and enthusiasm that defined our own Republican National Convention. We kicked off our convention with prayer, fun and unity—principles that guide our party and should guide our state.
Unfortunately, I can't say that I’m proud of our Governor’s recent actions. Governor Josh Green, originally from Pennsylvania, made a statement that I found irresponsible and an expression of pride that Hawaii was the first to stand in support of abortion as if it’s the voice of our people. The Aloha Spirit, which represents love, compassion, and care, doesn’t align with such decisions. The Hawaiian community, already facing challenges like economic hardship, displacement, fires, and housing shortages, deserves better. Why would he encourage abortion, especially in the Hawaiian community that only leads to further diminish the lineage of such a beautiful culture?
The facts speak for themselves—only 1-3% of abortions are due to life-threatening situations according to the CDC. We need to focus on alternatives like birth control, education, self-care and adoption. This is not a lecture but a reminder that our state should embody the true meaning of ALOHA.
If Josh Green truly cared about Hawaii’s people, he would focus on their well-being. He has stated that he is a big supporter of Joe Biden...but it’s very disheartening to see how Biden insulted the Maui fire victims with a mere $700 check. Isn’t it time we demand more from our leaders? We need representatives who truly represent the voice of Hawaii’s people and put our people first...that puts America first.
This is why we’ve worked tirelessly on our party platform. We listened to the voices from the grassroots and built a platform that reflects the true values of our constituents. I encourage you to read it here: Hawaii Republican Party Platform. Let’s get involved, ensure a fair election, uphold voter integrity, and turn Hawaii red. Support our candidates and get involved with the Republican Party—we need the grassroots to rise up!
Moving Forward: A Change in Leadership
I want to wish our past Treasurer, Michael Jauch, much success in his future endeavors. Michael has served us well, and now he’s running for office on Kauai. We’re confident that with his wife Rose by his side, he’ll accomplish great things for the people of Kauai and our state. He remains active within the Kauai County Republican Committee, so this isn’t goodbye.
We’re also pleased to welcome David Beuhler from Kona on the Big Island as our new Treasurer. The Executive Committee has approved his nomination, and we look forward to the State Committee confirming his position. David brings extensive experience in money management from his time with Bank of Hawaii, coupled with entrepreneurial skills and a longstanding commitment to our party. We’re excited to see what he’ll bring to the table.
Full disclosure, someone can still run for the seat and if anyone else is interested in the Treasurer position, please know that you can submit your name for consideration at the next State Committee meeting. You can email me at: [email protected]
Call for a Finance Chair
We also have an opening for a Finance Chair, which is essentially an events coordinator role. We’re looking for someone ambitious and creative to help organize events and fundraisers. If you or someone you know is interested, please email me (see above).

Remember? Refresh? Enjoy!!
Creation of the United States government
was originated in writing with this communication to Great Britain. It was
created by people from Great Britain, who were sent here by Great Britain.
This is the first part of the Declaration:
“When in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for one People to
dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to
assume among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which
the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the
Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel
them to the Separation.”
Enjoy this section. The next portion will be of our Declaration that the Founders, from the various States, expressed their respect for Independence.
