Friends,
Earth Week is over, and it was a week of bold action, despite the challenges. We found new ways to continue our fight for a habitable planet and just society.
As the world changes, our movement evolves. We joined the Earth Day Live streaming event brought to us by The US Climate Strike Coalition and the Stop the Money Pipeline Coalition. Our 350 Mass Climate Courage group led us in targeting Chase Bank, the #1 financier of fossil fuels. The US Climate Strikers presented their demands for a People’s Bailout and a Green New Deal, highlighting the connections between the pandemic and climate crisis (read more in this recap in TeenVogue ([link removed]) ). We organized, connected, and got inspired.
This week, we have more opportunities to act in solidarity with those on the front-lines of crisis now. Let's continue building our power to shape the future we need.
In solidarity,
Alan Palm
Director of Organizing
