We deserve fair representation. We deserve lawful maps, not racial gerrymanders. We deserve our elections to fulfill the promise of our democracy, not be stuck at the whim of a feckless Supreme Court pursuing a partisan agenda to codify racial voter suppression.

NYT: Supreme Court Sides With Republicans Over South Carolina Voting Map [[link removed]]
We expected this, John, even if it's bad news: The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 along party lines to overrule a panel of three federal judges that had previously ruled that South Carolina's 1st Congressional District was unlawfully drawn as a racial gerrymander.
A unanimous three-judge panel of the Federal District Court in Columbia, S.C., ruled in early 2023 that " the state’s First Congressional District, drawn after the 2020 census, violated the Constitution by making race the predominant factor ".
Voters in South Carolina were already going to be forced to vote in racially gerrymandered districts in 2024 because the Supreme Court dragged their feet deciding this case. Now these racially gerrymandered districts are law , courtesy of a Supreme Court hellbent on dismantling voting rights and fair representation nationwide.
This is Court-sanctioned voter suppression by way of gerrymandering, John, plain and simple. Help us fight back against opponents of voting rights nationwide by pitching in $25 or whatever you can today >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
