From time to time, folks ask me why defending Nevada’s Third District is so important. I could probably list a thousand reasons or more, but nobody wants to read a novel on that, so here’s my “elevator pitch” on why this battleground race matters for Nevadans and all Americans.
"In order for Democrats to win back the House Majority, we MUST defend Nevada’s Third District. But as one of the most competitive districts in the nation, winning here won’t be easy.
Republicans know how crucial this district is. They see it as an opportunity to replace me with my opponent, Drew Johnson, an extremist who wants to gut Social Security and repeal the Affordable Care Act.
If they succeed, Southern Nevadans will be left without a dependable advocate in Washington."
That’s my pitch — short and simple.
This election will have profound consequences, and we simply can’t afford to lose.So please, friend, help us win our critical battleground race by chipping in any amount today.
