I am grateful to work with so many leaders at the local, state, and national levels. In San Diego, we have some of the best public servants I have the honor to cross paths with and work alongside.
Dr. Darshana Patel – a current Poway School Board Trustee and a candidate for California State Assembly in the 76th District – is one of these public servants. She is deeply committed to her community and constituents, and I think the 76th District, which overlaps with my Congressional District, will be well served to have her representing us.
I continue to watch Darshana engage effectively with our community to create policy solutions for the biggest issues facing our families, businesses, and schools. Meanwhile, her opponent only focuses on personally attacking Darshana. While Darshana stands with community leaders, she stands next to MAGA extremists.
This race is about more than just defeating an opponent – it's about promoting our shared values and creating a better future for all. If we win, Darshana can implement policies that truly reflect our ideals and work towards a more inclusive and better community and state.
But to achieve this, she needs all of our help. She is fighting in one of the most competitive assembly districts in the state. Truthfully, we have so much to gain by helping her get elected, and we have too much to lose if her opponent wins.
Your support is crucial to her success. By contributing to Darshana’s campaign, you are investing in our shared values and goals for the future. Your donation will help Darshana reach more voters, expand her outreach efforts, and counter the divisive rhetoric that her extremist opponent uses every day. Sound familiar? We have an opportunity in our own backyard to elect someone who reflects all of our shared values and echoes our own dreams for a better region, state, and Union.

Gratefully,
