Hi John, it’s Speaker Joanna McClinton!

In 2022, Pennsylvanian voters turned out for Democrats, helping us flip the State House for the first time in over a decade and making me your Speaker. I was — and continue to be — so honored to serve our Commonwealth as the first woman Speaker of the Pennsylvania State House.

I’ll explain more about the stakes of the election in just a minute, but first, will you split a donation between my campaign and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party so we can elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November?

Since securing our razor-thin majority in the State House, House Democrats have taken action to invest in public education, support and empower workers, take care of our working families, protect reproductive rights, and more. The State House has passed nearly 400 bills and is paving the path for progress in Pennsylvania!

But all of the progress we’ve made is on the line this November. Pennsylvania is a key battleground state, and control of the State House will be decided on the margins. 

We have to keep the State House out of the hands of the GOP. When they were in charge in the State House, House Republicans were running a radical, extremist agenda. Not only did they not stand up for women's rights and our reproductive health, they failed to defend our democracy. These are the same Republicans that just a few years ago tried to throw our votes out in 2020!
