John,
Team Vote Pro-Choice is at the Democratic National Convention this week, and we’re feeling inspired, invigorated, and ready for this final sprint to Election Day.
Whether you’re here in Chicago or streaming at home, it’s been electrifying to watch. But as Michelle Obama reminded us all last night, now is the time to DO something.
Our endorsed candidates are taking action, and they have long been on the frontlines of this fight. This week, they’re raising issues of reproductive freedom on the national stage: from Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear sharing the stories of those impacted by abortion bans to Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth calling out MAGA Republicans for their attacks on IVF.
And last night, as the Delegates from each state took part in a symbolic roll call to nominate Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency, so many of our endorsed state and local champions participated in this historic moment on the floor.
Speakers like AOC and Michelle Obama have made the stakes clear: while we must win the White House in November, a singular victory is not enough.
To restore reproductive freedom, we need to elect pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot, from state Supreme Court races and state legislatures to local sheriffs and city councils.
Seeing so many of our candidates in action this week has us fired up for the fights ahead. If you’re feeling the same, can you support our work to elect pro-choice champions with a donation of any amount?
We couldn’t do this work without you.
In solidarity,
Team VPC
