The Democratic National Convention is underway, and Michelle Obama’s speech last night left us feeling inspired.

Her message was loud and clear. As Michelle Obama’s husband put it: if we knock on doors and make phone calls and talk to our friends and neighbors—if we work like we’ve never worked before—we will elect Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States and Tim Walz as the next Vice President of the United States.

Speaker after speaker at the convention has made it clear: Kamala Harris will defend our fundamental freedoms—our freedom to vote, our freedom to make decisions about our own bodies, and our freedom to live free from gun violence.

We know that if Trump and Vance get elected, they’ll do everything in their power to restrict our freedom to vote, eliminate abortion access nationwide, and block gun safety laws. We must do everything we can to stop them.
