[1]NNU - Medicare for All!

It’s almost
time for our next Patients Over Profits Action Call!

We created our Patients Over Profits campaign to build a groundswell of
politicians committed to rejecting donations from the for-profit health
care industry and reducing its influence on our political process.

We’re building our movement day by day thanks to volunteers reaching out
directly to political candidates and elected officials in their
communities and asking them to take our pledge. As of today, we have 220
signed on, but we need to see that number grow!

Things are heating up with the general election approaching this November,
so these next few months are the perfect time to help push the pledge.

Over Profits Action Call next Thursday, August 29th, at 5:00 pm PT / 8:00

On this call, we’ll hear from some of our activists in New Jersey who’ve
had great success getting new pledge signers in the last month, and share
updates, tips, and tricks. Then we’ll talk about everything you need to
help get more pledge signers, and we’ll even spend some time getting to
work!

The more politicians we get to reject campaign contributions from the
executives, lobbyists, and PACs affiliated with the corporate health care
industry — including private insurers, pharma corporations, and private
hospitals — the sooner we will establish the political will to fix our
broken system by passing Medicare for All.

We hope you can make it to the next call on the 29th and plug into our
campaign!

In solidarity,

Nurses’ Campaign to Win Medicare for All
