JOHN: have you ever heard of the "summer slump"? Kids are heading back to school, the weather is nice, people are enjoying the last few weeks of summer, and our fundraising numbers always take a dip.
This slowdown in fundraising is a big deal for a grassroots campaign like ours because a lot of what we raise comes from emails just like this one.
With our end-of-month fundraising deadline just around the corner, this is bad news. With John James placing a six-figure ad buy on our campaign and outside donors funneling millions of dollars in ads into MI-10, we're at serious risk of falling vulnerable to far-right attacks.
This could spell huge trouble for us down the road, because the fate of a Democratic House majority will come down to our race here in Michigan's 10th District.
Because of this summer slump, we have to ask: Will you chip in any amount to boost our fundraising efforts and help us reach our $25,000 August fundraising goal before next week's deadline?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
