Did you watch the convention last night? I mean, how FUN was that? My favorite was Michelle Obama’s incredible speech. And obviously, Lil Jon’s surprise roll call was hilarious.
While we're celebrating and having fun I just want to make sure we don’t lose sight of what's happening on the other side.
One group of Republicans, like Congressman Adam Kinzinger and Trump’s former press secretary Stephanie Grisham, are speaking out to make the case against a second Trump presidency. The other group of Republicans (and by far the largest), includes Speaker Mike Johnson and my opponent Kevin Lincoln. They are leaning into Trump’s extremism and are hoping to ride his coattails into more power.
This week while everyone is focused on the Convention, Mike Johnson and Kevin Lincoln made it very clear where they stand - they held a massive fundraiser right here in my district.
I’m worried that while we’re busy celebrating, Republicans are organizing.
