With Joe Biden out as Democrats’ candidate for president, the House of Representatives’ report on the impeachment inquiry released this morning may give off a “What difference, at this point, does it make?” vibe.
After all, even if the House votes to impeach the president, the Senate won’t convict him and he’ll be out of office and politics forever in January 2025. The nearly 300-page report nonetheless matters for many reasons, the most important of which is to restore America’s standing in the world.
