Today we honor people with lung disease.

Dear John,

Everyone in the lung health community has been impacted by lung disease — whether you’re taking care of a loved one with pulmonary fibrosis, raising a child with asthma or maybe even struggling with chronic breathing problems yourself. Regardless of how we are connected, we all realize the urgent need to build a world without lung disease.

Today, on our Day of Tribute, we have an opportunity to make a world like that possible. If you can, please make a gift in honor of the brave people living with lung disease — in your home, your community and across the country — to support care that can save lives today and research that can uncover treatments and cures of tomorrow.
Honor Someone Today
Millions of families are affected by lung disease every day. That includes the family of Steve Kornacki, data wiz and correspondent for MSNBC news, who struggled to find answers after his mother, Anne, was diagnosed with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Steve’s quest to uncover the truth behind ILD led him to the Lung Association.

More than 34 million people in the United States are living with some kind of chronic lung disease like ILD right now, and every one of them has a powerful story to tell. They’re grandparents, parents, children, neighbors, friends and more. For them, each breath can be a battle they must fight over and over again.

Today, let’s be there for them.

Please donate to honor the journey of people who are impacted by lung disease. Regardless of how much or how often you give, your gift will make a lifesaving difference.
