The speech was my opportunity to introduce myself to fellow Democrats and to the American people — and to make the case for Kamala Harris to be our next President. I talked about the choice we face in this election: Will we elect a career prosecutor or a career criminal? Will we elect someone who has lived the American dream or someone who has been America’s nightmare? And I referenced one of my viral moments when I asked simply: Will a vindictive villain violate voters’ vision? I believe the American people will elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, and that we’ll deliver a powerful majority for Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
