James — last night at the DNC, Bernie was met with standing ovations as he laid out the path for Democrats to deliver for all of us and take on the billionaire class.
Bernie said: “These oligarchs tell us we shouldn't tax the rich; take on price gouging; expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing, and vision; and increase social security benefits — well, I've got some bad news for them — that is precisely what we are going to do!”

The undaunted Senator from Vermont took direct aim at “Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Ag, Big Tech and all the corporate monopolists whose greed is denying progress for working people,” and the crowd at the DNC broke into chants of “Bernie, Bernie!”
In the people’s fight against corporate power, oligarchs, and billionaires, Bernie said, “We are going to win this struggle.” But we know it will take all of us standing together to get it done.

It wasn’t only a message of economic populism last night. Bernie also called for an end to the horrific war in Gaza and an immediate Ceasefire.
His calls for an end to Israel’s bombing of innocent Palestinians received a loud round of applause — because the American people widely support an end to the U.S. government funding the atrocities against Gazans.
What Bernie has done since running for president in 2016 is nothing short of transformative, but we know the struggle continues. He used the spotlight at the DNC to put forth a winning vision for 2024 and beyond: Health care as a right NOT a privilege, raising the minimum wage to a LIVING wage, overturning Citizens United to get big money out of politics, and much more.
“When the political will is there, government can effectively deliver for the people of our country,” Bernie said. Let us stand now to make our political will known in this pivotal moment.
