Vice President Kamala Harris has been a long-time climate champion — she has sued Big Oil during her time as California's Attorney General and supported a Green New Deal as a U.S. Senator. With her in the White House, we can continue to push her and her cabinet to take the bold action necessary to properly address the climate crisis and move us toward a clean energy future.

Harris also represents our best chance of stopping Donald Trump and the Republican Party's Project 2025: an extreme, right-wing agenda that would drag us backward on climate action, environmental protection, social justice, and so much more.

Of course, defeating Trump and his MAGA movement won't be easy — Harris is already facing a flood of blatant racism and misogyny from his campaign and corporate backers.

We have a plan to help elect Harris and make climate a key issue in this election by:

• Working with 350 WI Action and other organizations in Wisconsin to talk to crucial swing state voters there, including youth at different colleges outside of the bigger cities.
• Partnering with Seed the Vote, Environmental Voter Project and Climate Power to recruit, train, and support volunteers to door knock and phone bank in swing states where the election may be determined by a very small number of voters.
• Sending activists to organize in other key states that could decide the presidency and other important down-ballot races.
