There’s a reason back-to-school holds a special meaning to our team every year.
Last week, so many of you replied to Alexandra’s email and shared some of your favorite back-to-school memories. And truthfully, it was bittersweet.
I know your heart for this mission; I’m sure it wasn’t lost on you that the 3,000 lives lost to abortion each day will never get the chance to make those same memories. But it can be hard to fully grasp what this looks like.
The average elementary school has 479 students. That means more than six schools worth of children, every single day, will never get to walk into a classroom for the first time, learn alongside new friends, or grow up to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
That’s why this back-to-school season, we’ve set a very specific goal:
We want to fill those empty classrooms and save the next preborn child from abortion by connecting their mom to long-term support.
But it’s only the generosity of rescuers like you that will make this a reality.
Your gift will bring the love of Christ to the next mom actively seeking an abortion. She will have a chance to hear her baby’s heartbeat, receive compassionate care, and the tangible, long-term support that overcomes her biggest needs.
Already, a generous group of donors has stepped up to provide a $100,000 Challenge Grant to inspire more generosity. This means, when combined with the Challenge Grant, your gift will help DOUBLE the lifesaving impact when made by the September 17th campaign deadline.
More than that, by giving to address the next mom’s biggest burdens and worries, you’ll allow her to imagine a future with her baby. At a time of year when so many parents and children are experiencing these precious back-to-school milestones, she’ll be able to picture the same thing for herself and her baby.
