John,
The Democratic National Convention is happening right now in Chicago and we have an exciting opportunity to come together, watch, and reflect on this pivotal moment in our nation’s history.

Join us this Thursday, August 22nd, around 10 PM ET, as we watch Democratic nominee for president Kamala Harris deliver her primetime acceptance speech to the nation at the DNC. Let’s experience this powerful moment in community, surrounded virtually by others who care deeply about the future of working people.
But the conversation doesn’t end there.
On Friday, August 23rd at 1 PM ET, we invite you to join us again for a dynamic and thought-provoking discussion on what we’ve seen and heard this week, and what it means for our movement.
This panel will feature an incredible lineup of grassroots leaders, including WFP National Director Maurice Mitchell, Adrienne Maree Brown, Rukia Lumumba, Dawn Phillips, Hillary Holley, and Greisa Martinez Rosas.
Together, we’ll ground ourselves in our movement and explore where working people fit into the larger narratives expressed this week from the stage of and amongst the delegates to the Democratic National Convention. We’ll discuss the strategies we need to achieve collective freedom and ensure everyone has the opportunity to live well and thrive.
