John,

The second day of the DNC Convention was nothing short of thrilling![[link removed]]

Not only was the roll call for the delegate count more exciting than ever, thanks to the skillful spinning of the DJ, but the speeches were exhilarating, and energizing.

Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama delivered unparalleled and deeply moving speeches that served as a crystal-clear warning: despite energy and enthusiasm of the moment the fight ahead will be difficult, and none of us can mistake enthusiasm for the reality of the work ahead .

In Michelle Obama’s words:

“So no matter how good we feel tonight or tomorrow or the next day, this is going to be an uphill battle. So, folks, we cannot be our own worst enemies. No, because the minute something goes wrong, the minute a lie takes hold, folks, we cannot start wringing our hands. We cannot get a Goldilocks complex about whether everything is just right”

I’m pleased to report that your Feminist Majority, through Vote For Equality our political action arm, has indeed been preparing for a tough fight for the last six months.

Even as the DNC Convention will be in session for another two days, our Campus Mobilization in key battleground states of Michigan, Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, along with key districts in Ohio, California, and New York is well underway.

That’s right. Even as the excitement and energy build in Chicago, hundreds of Campus Coordinators and volunteers have already fanned out and are in place ready for the start of the fall semester key campuses so our Campus Campaign can take full advantage of early voting. At the same time they’re organizing and to assure the most massive student turnout in in history.

Political experts know the size of the turnout of young voters could make the winning difference in 2024.

So, given the year-after-year winning difference our Feminist Majority campus mobilizations have made in major races from 2018 through 2023 in key elections, we’re pulling out all the stops. Our Massive Campus Mobilization is designed to maximize a vote assuring Kamala Harris is President, we return the Democrats to majority control of the House, and maintain majority control of the Senate.

Make no mistake. The turnout of women of all ages –and especially younger voters (both women and men) will decide the outcome of the 2024 elections.

And that’s why the work of Vote For Equality is so important right now.

Overcoming Voter Suppression

And “ right now “is exactly the time when we need your help is most needed [[link removed]] and will make the most difference. You see, even before the bright lights and tv coverage of the DNC Convention fade, the MAGA Republicans are working overtime on setting up traps, and trips to suppress the student vote.

As I write our Campus teams are battling the MAGA voter suppression tactics aimed at students, such as voter ID laws and misinformation about voting rights. With you help our teams will do everything possible to make sure every eligible student can cast their vote.

Now, more than ever, we need your help [[link removed]] . Please add your support to this fight by chipping in $5, $15, $25, $50, or even $100. Your support helps ensure that our Vote for Equality campaign turns out college students in key battleground states in record numbers.

Please help. As Michelle Obama warned last night, “ ...no matter how good we feel tonight or tomorrow or the next day, this is going to be an uphill battle.”

Every dollar will help us make the winning difference.

For Victory and Equality,

P.S. Even though the enthusiasm is higher than I’ve ever seen it we must remember that the margin between winning and losing in the key battleground states is razor thin ! As they have in the past, our 2024 Campus Campaigns are likely to make the winning difference.
