There is just over a week left of our Bid On Peace Auction -- so waste no time in getting your final bids in for all the incredible donated items and experiences we have listed this year! The last day to place a bid is August 31st at 11:59pm EDT.
This auction is a really special event for us because not only does it raise money to support our overhead expenses, but it brings together our community through often personal donations extended to the World BEYOND War network. Some are handcrafted items and others are experiences shared with our community all in support of working to end war.
World BEYOND War knows we face the Military Industrial Congressional Intelligence Media Academic Think Tank Complex that is extremely well funded by weapons manufacturers and others who profit from war. We do not accept money from governments, and get little from foundations because we’re often deemed “too biased or political”. Our work and ability to expand our outreach is dependent on donations from ordinary citizens who care about ending war and creating a just peace. This auction is one creative way of raising money and providing great items and experiences in exchange.
All proceeds from the auction directly support WBW’s programming peace building programs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to WBW’s anti-war work while getting an experience or item in return from one our your fellow activists!
