*Governor Mike DeWine Appoints Three to OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board*

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of three members to the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board.

Among them, Thomas Gregoire has been reappointed, bringing his continued expertise and dedication to the Foundation's mission of partnering with organizations across Ohio to help end the opioid epidemic and prevent its recurrence. He is joined by new appointees, James F. White III and Jonathan Lee.

“These individuals all bring a wealth of experience to the board and are committed to advancing our work to combat the effects of the opioid epidemic and substance use disorder by investing in prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts in our communities,” said Governor DeWine. “The purpose of the OneOhio Recovery Foundation is to make people’s lives better – both now and long into the future. These appointees will strengthen our efforts to support innovative solutions and foster collaborative partnerships across the State to accomplish that goal.”

Governor DeWine’s board appointments are as follows:


* * Thomas Gregoire* (reappointment) has nearly 30 years of experience at The Ohio State University, where he has served as Dean of the College of Social Work and an Associate Professor. Holding a Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Kansas, Dr. Gregoire has dedicated his career to supporting people in recovery, drawing from his professional experience working in treatment programs, his teaching and research, and his personal journey as someone in long-term recovery. He resides in Upper Arlington.
* *James F. White III* (new appointment) is a First Vice President and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley. With an MBA from Harvard Business School and a diverse career that includes leadership roles at PepsiCo and a tech start-up, White also contributes to his family’s automotive business and serves on several boards, reflecting his commitment to both professional excellence and community involvement. He lives in Columbus.
* *Jonathan Lee* (new appointment) is a healthcare executive with over three decades of experience as the Founder and CEO of Signature Health Inc., a leading community mental health center and Federally Qualified Health Center in Cleveland. He has a proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and expanding mental health services, with a focus on integrating behavioral health into primary care. Under his leadership, Signature Health has grown significantly, earning recognition as one of the fastest-growing organizations in Cleveland. Lee has been in recovery for nearly 37 years. He lives in Chardon.

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation [ [link removed] ] is a private, nonprofit organization created at the direction of state and local leaders to distribute 55% of the funds Ohio will receive from the pharmaceutical industry because of its role in the national opioid epidemic. The Foundation works with local interests to support substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts, and invests funds to support these efforts for Ohioans into the future.

The OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board plays a crucial role in guiding the Foundation’s strategic direction and ensuring the effective allocation of resources to community-based programs.

The Foundation Board consists of 29 members and is comprised of:


* Six members selected by the State, including five selected by the Governor and one selected by the Attorney General.
* Four members from the Ohio General Assembly.
* Eleven non-metropolitan regional members, with one member selected from each non-metropolitan region.
* Eight metropolitan regional members, with one member selected from each metropolitan region.
