Caraveo for Congress

Hey John,

Growing up – I aspired to be a doctor to make a meaningful impact on my community. But, working as a pediatrician in Adams County, I saw firsthand how many families were struggling with issues that went beyond what I could address in my role.

I witnessed families working tirelessly to keep a roof over their heads amidst rising housing costs, while also struggling to afford life-saving treatments and prescription drugs. Too many families were falling through the cracks, so I knew I needed to go into public office to fix the problems I saw firsthand. Can you pitch in any amount to help me get back in office and continue this crucial work?

As a doctor, I know our healthcare system needs serious reform. 65% of my patients’ families were on Medicaid but were still struggling with medical costs. No family should choose between life-saving treatments and putting food on the table. That is why I helped pass a first in the nation cap on the price of insulin and am working to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prices on more drugs and increase transparency into hospital prices.

As a doctor, I know abortion is a fundamental right. Too many women are getting their reproductive freedoms stripped when limits and bans on abortions are placed. When women are placed in these difficult situations, the last thing they need is more limits placed on their healthcare. That is why I introduced a bill focused on expanding clinics’ ability to provide abortion and reproductive health services to more patients.

As a doctor, I know medical issues intersect with every other part of life. When families are stressed about rising costs, they are forced to take time and resources away from their health. That is why I worked to increase family and sick leave, protect renters from evictions, and expand the Child Tax Credit.

To keep making these important changes and work towards taking back the House, I need your support. Can you make a donation today to help me continue addressing the needs of our community?
