The US government is killing millions of animals every year, just because
they ventured into farmland. But we have a chance to protect these
majestic creatures.
Wildlife defenders recently won a crucial ban on the use of cyanide bombs
to kill animals. Now's the perfect time to put pressure on the Secretary
of Agriculture to stop the wild animal slaughter:

John,
The US government has killed 56 million wild animals since 2004. 56
MILLION!!!
Endangered gray wolves, majestic grizzly bears, foxes, beavers, songbirds
– exterminated as vermin on behalf of giant greedy meat and dairy
corporations.
But wildlife defenders recently won a crucial ban on the use of cyanide
bombs to kill animals for Big Ag. With our help they can build on the
victory and end the massacre for good. Momentum is growing fast – we can
be the tipping point! Sign now:

Not content with razing the Amazon and trashing the climate, Big
Agriculture wants wild animals out of the way too – stripping the land of
anything but mass-produced crops and cattle. And the US government is
acting as their pest-control service!
Almost half the country’s land has been colonised for meat, dairy and egg
production, forcing other living creatures from their natural habitats.
And when wild species dare stray onto this land, they risk being trapped,
shot or poisoned.
It’s so extreme – foxes have been killed with cyanide bombs, gray wolves
gunned down from aeroplanes, starlings poisoned in such large numbers
they’ve been known to rain down from the sky. This has to end.
That’s why earth defenders are rallying, pushing for a package of new
rules to govern the agency driving this – outlawing the killing of
coyotes, bears and other crucial predators, prioritising non-lethal animal
control and banning cruel methods like body-crushing traps. Add your name:

Giant meat and dairy corporations have been allowed to trash our planet
for far too long, inflicting massive loss and deep suffering. But
movements like ours are fighting back…and winning ground, from pushing
McDonald’s and PepsiCo to commit to no-deforestation palm oil policies to
getting bee-killing neonicotinoids banned in Europe. So let’s keep
fighting, together, to protect our amazing world and all the creatures
that live here.
