In a victory for Asian American & Pacific Islander leadership, Rep. Stephanie Murphy has been named to the White House bipartisan economic recovery panel.
The Florida Congresswoman has already vowed to help the country emerge stronger and more resilient, saying, “We don’t run from a fight. We take it head on, and we do what it takes to prevail.”
Stephanie Murphy has been fighting hard her entire life. Now she will be fighting to make sure the federal government provides the necessary oversight to ensure unemployed Americans get their fair share.
But she’ll share the panel with the likes of Ted Cruz, Susan Collins, and Rand Paul. Stephanie’s already made clear that she’ll fight hard for us, and she is committed to results regardless of political differences -- but the Republicans she’ll be forced to work with haven’t always done the same.
