Free-For-All

When Congress began debating the economic response to the coronavirus crisis, Economic Liberties advocated for a People First, Corporations Later approach. Economic Liberties’ Executive Director Sarah Miller made the case in a new piece out today in The Appeal, highlighting new polling with Data for Progress that shows overwhelming, bipartisan support for a merger moratorium. And today, Senator Warren and Representative Ocasio-Cortez have released a bill — the Pandemic Anti-Monopoly Act — that would do just that.
