London Councils will be hosting events at each of the upcoming major party conferences, as follows:

Liberal Democrat Party Conference

London Councils has announced plans to move to smaller, more modern offices.

The move will  provide an exciting new workspace for our staff, members and networks, designed to support collaboration and more agile working practices. It will also generate significant savings.

The new offices are located in the City of London area, around 15 minutes walk from London Bridge station.

The organisation will be moving in a staged process from early September, and we will bring you more details of the move and updates for members and networks closer to the date. 

In May this year, London Councils launched a new website.

As we begin to decommission the old website, we are looking for some final feedback on what works well, what doesn’t work well and suggestions for improvements. Please take a moment to let us know via our website feedback survey.

On 26 September, LOTI (The London Office of Technology and Innovation) will be hosting a Lunch and Learn for colleagues to learn more about how data storytelling goes beyond journalism, making a powerful impact across various sectors and industries.  The session will be presented by Joe Sharpe, co-founder of Applied Works, who will reveal how, by blending user research, crafting compelling narratives, and linking them to real-world outcomes, data design can inspire and move people.
