I’m currently at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago alongside thousands of Democrats who are committed to electing Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and other leaders who will protect our freedoms and prevent my uncle’s brand of extremism from taking hold nationwide. I’m optimistic, but I’m also well aware that we can’t slow down now. Because if Donald is afforded a second term, I cannot overstate the threat he poses to American democracy. Despite having the most extreme far-right platform of any presidential candidate in modern history, killing Roe v. Wade, and being an indicted criminal, Donald is currently neck-and-neck with Vice President Kamala Harris in the polls.

But thanks to the DGA, we can stop Trumpism in the states. Democratic governors have acted, unwaveringly, as the last line of defense against Trump and his loyalists’ restrictive policies – but they can’t do it alone, especially not in the face of the lies and chaos they’re spewing on Truth Social in attempts to distract from our convention. That’s where you come in.

Together as Democrats, we need to stay energized around winning up and down the ballot – from today, to Thursday when the Democratic National Convention ends, all the way up to Election Day this November. And there’s no better way to do that than making a donation today, friend.
