In the wake of disasters, the Alley Cat Allies Rapid Response Team mobilizes quickly, working on the ground to save cats, provide critical emergency veterinary care, and support recovery with supplies like cat food, lifesaving medication, food bowls and litter pans, and more. And our work doesn’t stop there: We provide long-term support to communities months after disasters, because recovery doesn’t happen in a matter of days. Our goal is to help ensure cats’ lives don’t slip through the cracks of disaster response–whether they are indoor cats or community cats who live outdoors.
But the best way to help cats and kittens is to prepare BEFORE disaster strikes by including cats in your disaster planning.
