| John, I have some good news, accompanied by some really bad news. First, will you chip in a few dollars to my End-of-Month fundraising campaign so we can beat Jeff Jackson on November 5th? Let’s start with the good news. A new poll shows that I’m up 4 points on my Radical Leftist opponent!  This is a great indicator of all the support you’ve given me so far. Your donations are helping me buy TV ads and reach as many voters as possible. It’s paying off. We’re on pace to give North Carolina its first Republican Attorney General in over 125 years. This could be a historical win for North Carolina and Republicans.
But now, here’s the bad news. I am pacing way behind my August fundraising goal.  This is awful news. If I start coming up short on these goals, Jeff Jackson will get the momentum he needs for a comeback victory on November 5th. While polling in August is something to get excited about, this race is not over until it’s over. We cannot afford to keep our feet off the gas.
That’s why I’m humbly asking you to send a donation of whatever you can afford within the next five minutes. Jeff Jackson’s piggy bank has gotten a whole lot bigger ever since Kamala Harris took over the Democratic ticket, and it seems like mine is getting a lot smaller. The last thing I want is to see the next poll say we’re tied or, worse, that I’m losing. We have the potential to do something that hasn’t been done since the 1800s. We can put a MAGA Republican in North Carolina’s Attorney General Office who will help spread President Trump’s America-First Agenda to the Tar Heel State. Will you help me make history?
