We have a labradoodle breeder running the country's pandemic task force.
I wish I was kidding.
Earlier this year, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and the Trump administration tapped former Dallas labradoodle breeder Brian Harrison, an aide with minimal public health experience, to lead the country's pandemic task force.
Despite having access to the best doctors and brightest experts in the country, the Trump administration put a labradoodle breeder in charge.
This is just another example of how out of touch this administration is and the lengths they'll go to in order to further their own agendas and reward unqualified cronies.
Their incompetence will continue to cost lives if we don't act. Not only do we need doctors who can lead the response to a public health crisis, but we also need leaders who are willing to take action to protect the American people.
I'm both.

As Donald Trump continues to evade the facts and spread dangerous misinformation -- going so far as to risk the lives of Americans by suggesting that injecting themselves with deadly disinfectants like bleach might be a viable treatment -- I will keep fighting for every single American, and make sure they have the correct information to keep themselves safe and healthy.
