I'm checking in from Chicago where Democrats from across the country have joined together for our National Convention. I want to share an exciting announcement: I've been named one of three DNC Sergeant-At-Arms at this year's convention! I will be sitting on the podium stage at various times during the Convention.

The truth is, our work started long before this week's speeches and celebration. I've spent years dedicated to supporting Democratic candidates in critical swing seat districts, and I'm proud to have done my part in the wins that have brought us to today.

In 2018, when Donald Trump was in office, Democrats sent a powerful message against his harmful and hateful agenda when we took back the House. In 2020, we elected President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. And in 2022, we stopped a red wave in its tracks. Now we're facing our biggest challenge yet.
